SIGNAL T vol. 2 by Victoria Heifner of Milkfed Press

You’re going to make it after all with our SIGNAL T vol. 2 collaboration with the incredibly talented Victoria Heifner of @milkfedpress. She is our neighbor here on our home island city of Alameda, California, and we met through a shared love of delicious coffee and a passion for design.
Victoria is creating such wonderful, whimsical work for SIGNAL and we are so grateful. Love is all around.

From Victoria, about her work:
”Milkfed Press is a culmination of my many passions: typography, bookbinding, hand-lettering, craftsmanship, problem-solving, design, quality paper, and of course — letterpress printing. 

I came to this place the old fashioned way— through hands-on experience, and traditional apprenticeships. I was very fortunate to learn from Master Printers and Master Bookbinders, all pioneers in their respective craft. Through these experiences, I learned to create hand-bound books, to hand-set real lead and wood type, and to operate and care for the printing presses. Once I had a firm grasp on the production-end of creating, my design skills blossomed.
I strive to work closely with my clients to help them create meaningful pieces for whatever their occasion.”
